Immerse yourself in holiday traditions from around the globe!
Christmas Around the World and Holidays of Light is Griffin MSI’s annual winter exhibit, featuring a four-story Grand Tree, surrounded by a forest of more than 50 trees and displays decorated by community volunteers to represent the holiday traditions from their cultures around the globe along with displays representing international seasonal celebrations of light.
This annual tradition began in 1942 with a single tree, newly decorated every day for 12 days to represent the countries fighting alongside America during World War II. That display of a variety of global holiday customs was a reminder that there is more joining us than dividing us.
The annual Christmas Around the World and Holidays of Light exhibits are open from mid-November until the first weekend of January.
